We are currently seeking five native English speaking interns to begin in June 2009. If you are interested please go to our Internship page Princeton English which will open in June of 2009. We are the premier upmarket English/Chinese training center in Benxi, China.
We specialize in teaching real life and professional English/Chinese to teens and adults, as well as offering individually tailored corporate training.
We teach languages with the belief that language is best learned by full immersion in an environment where we are forced to use the language in a meaningful and useful way. As such, we feature small class sizes, world-class materials, an immersive environment, and a professional teaching style which is focused on teaching students how to use the language in the real world rather than what the language is.




Princeton English Paid Internship program
Who is this program for?
Princeton is offering a six month paid internship/study program that is perfect for those desiring to utilize their skills, learn Mandarin Chinese, build strong international relationships, and experience one of the most fascinating cultures in the world. There are currently five positions available for the spring semester (June 2009 – September 2009 and September 2009 to December 2009).
This is an outstanding opportunity for:

College students or graduates wanting to expand their resume, skills, and global experience.
International business students or graduates seeking to explore the fastest growing economic and business force in the World.
TESOL/TESL students who desire the complete their practicum in a genuine cross cultural setting.
Students seeking to fulfill college internship requirements.
Anyone interested in learning more about the Chinese language and culture.


What is it like to be an intern at Princeton?
As an intern in the Princeton English internship program you can expect a challenging and enlightening cross cultural experience, preparing you for life in an increasingly multicultural world. You will receive hands on experience working in a growing company with both Chinese and American management. You will receive training in a multitude of areas, and you will also be providing our Chinese students the opportunity to have quality interaction with native English speakers while learning about Chinese culture!

Your weekly schedule will consist of the following things:

20 hours of classroom ESL experience - You will usually be teaching small classes of adults and teens, using professional materials, and a discussion based method of training.
2 hours of staff meetings and training - You will receive professional training in the areas of teaching, communication, and public speaking.
10 hours of Mandarin Chinese training - You will be enrolled in Princeton’s full-time immersive Mandarin Chinese program, equivalent to more than two semesters of Ch[Please log-in to contact users]ure and business study – Princeton’s cross-cultural business consultants and activities bring education to life with practical applications for real-life cultural and business problems in China.
As an intern you will either be learning or teaching, with the constant that your communication skills, cultural knowledge, and language abilities will be improving rapidly!


So besides all the training, what are the benefits?
Fully furnished shared apartment - There will be two or three people (same gender) per apartment.
4000 RMB monthly salary - This is plenty for most living costs in China.
One full week paid vacation for traveling or sight seeing - Times mutually agreed upon by Princeton management and intern after arrival.
Free pick-up and drop-off in China - Princeton will provide free airport or train station pick-up and drop-off, depending on how you come to Benxi.
One week orientation and training - ESL training and acclamation assistance will be given (i.e. help understanding shopping, dining, transportation etc.)
State of the art facilities - Including an Chinese/English library, multimedia computer lab, and game room.
Free internet Access - You always have access to the internet free of charge in our teacher’s resource room or out in our coffee bar.
